The PPM™ KEY is the latest addition to the custom-designed suite of Makkar PPM sports performance power guards. The patent-pending PPM KEY is our entry-level power guard designed for use across the broad spectrum of recreational and amateur athletes looking for sports performance benefits but who may not require the level of precision and sophistication of our higher-end PPM products.
The PPM KEY is available only through our network of certified PPM™ dentists. Through patent-pending diagnostic and performance testing processes, a PPM™ dentist works with you to evaluate various alignment-performance measures to determine your personal “performance key” – the position that is demonstrated upfront to provide instant improvements in strength, range of motion, range of vision, balance and flexibility. You will see the potential improvements in your PPMTM dentist’s office and will know right there and then how the PPM Key will help you improve in your sport or athletic activity.
The PPM KEY has been designed with simplicity in mind. In a process that can be completed in approximately 15 minutes, a specific jaw position for optimal non-TENsing performance is determined through a series of tests that provide on-the-spot improvement indicators.
The first step in the PPM™ Key fitting process is to conduct a series of quick tests to establish baseline measurements of strength, balance, range of motion and flexibility.
The PPM Dentist then repeats the same performance tests with the jaw in various positions to instantly determine the position that affords the greatest improvement in strength, balance, range of motion and flexibility – your personal performance key.
Once your performance alignment position has been determined, the PPM™ Dentist captures your unique bite signature and forwards customized impressions to a certified PPM Lab for fabrication of your PPM Key. Unlike competitive products, the PPM Key is designed to maximize the extent to which your upper and lower jaws are best positioned to create an integrated and harmonized alignment.
