PPM™ 1.0

The PPM™ 1.0 is custom-fit to an enhanced alignment position by a process of jaw positioning that involves the relaxation of the jaw muscles. This improvement in alignment facilitates enhancements in flexibility, strength, balance and agility that have redefined the boundaries of athletic performance for users

The PPM™ 1.0 is available only through our network of certified PPM™ dentists with Neuromuscular Dentistry training. A PPM™ Dentist applies the principles of neuromuscular science to find an enhanced resting jaw position that has been shown to unleash instant improvements in strength, balance, range of motion and flexibility.

Fitting Process: PPM™ 1.0

Over time, your nerves develop habits, and they then beat in patterns that are “hard-wired” into the brain. In most of us, these patterns are sub-optimal.

Step 1: Relax the Muscles

The first step in the PPM™ 1.0 fitting process is to relax the muscles to allow the jaws to come to physiologic rest – effectively de-programming the nerve patterns that accompany an improper bite and a misaligned jaw.

A TENS unit is used to provide mild muscle and nerve stimulation to relax jaw muscles in a process that typically takes 45 minutes.

Step 2: Enhanced Jaw Alignment

Once the muscles have been relaxed, the PPM™ Dentists applies neuromuscular science principles and measurements to determine the jaw position, customized for each individual, that allows for immediate improvements in a number of areas vital to sports performance.
